Stages Of An Advertising Strategy

Advertising is getting popular day by day. At the same time it is the most important tool to grow your business (may be at a global level as well). There are five stages that are involved in building a nice and effective advertising strategy. The first thing that you should keep in mind is that the best advertising campaign is the one that combines both reason and emotion to drive a sale. Here are the different stages involved in an advertising strategy:

Firstly you must know as to what is the aim of an advertisement. Basically an advertisement has three goals in initial stages. The first aim is to inform the consumers about a company and its products or services. It can be a new launch, or an addition to an already existing brand, or to promote the product or no matter what! Once you inform the customer about it, your next aim is to attract customers to stimulate sale. You should create a desire in them to purchase the goods or hire the service. Make sure that your offering has a unique USP (unique selling proposition) that should be different from others.
After doing all this, you need to understand about your target audience as to what are the customers that are going to use your services. What is their demographic profile?
What is their age group, gender, job, income and hobby and other things like that! This would be your second task.

What is their behavior of shopping, what are their needs and desires, what do they exactly want in your offering. For example, if you are launching a detergent, then what are the demands of your customers. Do they want a detergent for stains, or the one that is effective for white clothes and things like that! That will be your USP for the product! Basically you should put yourself in your consumer's shoe
The next thing is to decide for the advertisement medium.
I mean to say whether you want to give your ads in newspaper, popular magazine, radio, TV, Internet, banner, direct mail and so on. Go for multiple mediums if your budget allows!

The next step is to create the advertising message that covers your marketing objectives and the USP of your product! Use alluring visual and informative content to attract your audience and win their trust!
