Most importantly, such a study lets different people from various cultures to communicate. It also allows to understand and know the common as well as present differences of different cultures. The study of humanities shows how different disciplines affect and complement one another.

One of the most amazing fact about the study of the humanities is that, it can be used to understand the past which has contributed to the present. We come to know that the culture which today we have, was actually shaped by the past, and how the facts, findings, and literature of thousands of years old have a great impact on our modern world. And we all know that the past is the key to understand our present. The understanding of how we came to this present helps us to communicate about it and even to the future.
