Automobile KPI data is the key performance indicators which are used to determine how your vehicle performs. The data will tell you if your vehicle is performing at an optimum level, when the time has come for a tune up, or when the time has come to junk your vehicle.

A car is a constitution of several working systems, including the power, transmission, suspension, furnishings, and many more. These systems are the the source of the key performance indicators that you will be useful to rate your car as to performance, functionality, and efficiency.

In order to do this, you need to know what indicators reveal your vehicle's performance. In this regard, you may require the help of an automotive mechanic. However, if you have been driving your car since it was brand new up to this time, then you may have a rough idea about the manner your car performs at its best. This can be the basis in comparing the performance your car had at the time you bought it and it has in present time. This is true that there is no constant information that will establish a line as to whether your automobile performs well or not. In this case, you must consider is the relation of economy to efficiency, in which efficiency is not sacrificed by economy.

Fuel efficiency is the foremost thing that any car buyer looks at. The basic idea is that, the more miles your car gets with a gallon of fuel, be it diesel or gasoline engine, the better your car performs. You are able to go longer distances with lesser fuel, means your car engine has an efficient fuel burn rating and less fuel goes to waste.

Engine power is another performance indicator. Usually, the more powerful the engine, the better it performs! However, sometimes it is true that a 1.8-liter engine is better than a V8 engine. The V8 engine is more suited for speed driving. But, if you are a regular city driver, a 1.8-liter engine is best for you.
