One of the big issues faced by companies is on the job training. Communication is an important element which can help in developing inter office relationships. Lack of communication can lead to the creation of personal assumptions. Whereas, excessive communication can leave people in their own excess verbiage.

Therefore, it is important to maintain a balance in communication. On the job or inner communication indicate the importance of telling people thrice what you exactly want them to know. Here is an example of an inner communication:

  1. Memo: The first step is to convey a clear message to all. For instance, if a meeting is scheduled at 8 AM Thursday make sure you send a memo to every member involved. You must also ensure that specific questions or ideas should be typed in program format for discussion.
  2. Meeting outline: The next step is to draft an outline of the scheduled meeting. The outline must include the introduction of the speaker, speaker discourse, questions on any issues, brainstorm solutions and solution discussions.
  3. Memo: Finally, covey the end result of the meeting to every member and thank everyone for attending the meeting.

Inner office communications determines the actual accomplishment of goals, team members involved and the time duration. However, due to lack of communication jobs suffer, clients unhappy, and failure of businesses.

It has been seen that organizations with great communications require lesser people to accomplish the same tasks, people are more efficient, and offer better customer service because there is no lag in communicating needs. Finally, the success or failure of any business is determined by communication.
