Problems Faced By Teens

The world is competitive day by day. It is common for everyone to witness the peer pressure and others such things, teens are no exceptions. If you have a teenager at home, and if he is facing certain disorders that I am going to mention here, then it is definite that he or she is suffering from teenager disorder. Here are certain problems faced by teens:

    * Teen behavior problem
    * Teen mental health problem
    * Teen sleep problem
    * Teen drinking problem
    * Eating disorder

It is not necessary that there should be some kind of cause or reason behind these disorders. They may happen on their own also. But in 90% of cases it has been see that these happen with a reason behind them. The reason might be anything, starting from a bad behavior shown by family members at home, some love affair (in this case, I would say infatuation), or some inferiority complex in class or home, some kind of problem with friends circle, and other such things. It is immensely vital for us to know that reason to rectify it. We should sit with them, spend some time with them, let them tell their sorrows of their own, don't force them! Here are some of the other common symptoms:

  • Uses alcohol or other drugs; or may be some other addiction
  • Eats large amounts of food and then forces vomiting.
  • Takes some kind of medicine.
  • Does he shows symptoms of sexual disorders or gets excites on watching intimate scenes?
  • Have you ever found any wrong picture in his bedroom. I mean any porn CD or book? Does he shows symptoms of any such thing?
  • Continues to diet or exercise obsessively (knowing the fact that he or she is extremely thin). He may do so just to give the family members trouble.
  • Often hurts other people, destroys property, or breaks the law; do something non violent
  • Does things that can prove to be life threatening.
  • Remains extremely angry most of the time, cries a lot or overreacts to things;
  • Worthless or guilty a lot;
  • Anxious as compared to others?
  • Grief for a long time after a loss or death
  • Extremely fearful as compared to other kids?
  • Constantly concerned about the way he or she looks?
  • Frightened that his or her mind is controlled or is out of control?

If you think that some of these reasons are common to your child, then he may be a victim of teen disorders.
