Just look around and you’ll find many people promising “Dramatic Weight Loss” with products such as “The Fat Trapper”, or “Exercise in a Bottle.” You may have also come across hundreds of diet programs like “Sugar Busters” or “The Atkins Diet.” I’m sure you might have even tried some of them. Shortly, you’ll realize that most of these products don’t give the desired results. Here are some of the common myths among people regarding exercise and nutrition.

  • Burn fat with exercise – Most people assumes that lack of exercise can result in body fat. However, the truth is that body fat increases because of an increase in blood sugar level or if you are consuming too many calories at one time.
  • After 30 metabolisms slow down – It is false! The truth is that metabolism slows down because of loss of muscle tissue. Lack of physical activity can be one of the reasons for the loss of muscle tissue.
  • Fattening products – You must understand that anything can be fattening. Not just pasta and bread even lettuce can be fattening. Studies show that any food or drink, which contains calories, can result in body fat. The answer to this problem is the quantity and time when you eat.
