So finally after a hectic week, you have got a weekend to relax! You must be thinking of having a few drinks with your friends and relaxing. The fact is that after working so hard you certainly deserve a little enjoyment and fun now that the weekend's here! Let me tell you one more thing. If you think that you have to hide your leisure drinking, then you are wrong as there's nothing wrong with going out and having a few drinks with your friends, right? But don't you think that being Saturday, tomorrow is a workout day and since you exercise regularly and take care of yourself, then there is no harm in intaking a little alcohol along the way, right? Let me tell you some things before you head on to the local pub! The fact is that there are pros and cons of drinking alcohol!

According to a lot of research, it has been proved that small amounts of alcohol increase muscular endurance and strength output. But at the same time, the fact is that the advantages that come with alcohol are very short lived. After around twenty or so minutes, the problems start. The bad symptoms and diseases that come with alcohol fully outweigh any possible benefits it can have to anyone. It is due to the fact that alcohol is a toxin (poison) and that is why it can lead to a lot of abnormalities as well.

These are the drawbacks: they can minimize your strength, endurance, recovery capabilities. At the same time, alcohol holds the power to reduce, aerobic capacity, ability to metabolize fat and muscle growth. A direct affect falls on the nervous system and brain.

If you tend to get indulged in pleasure drinking in a rare manner then it is ok, but if you drink it on a regular level, then it can lead to severe deterioration of your central nervous system. There are a lot of drawbacks that accompany short term use, as it can reduce nerve-muscle interaction and can result in a loss of strength.

When alcohol reaches the muscle cells, it can cause damage to them. Above all, those who drink a lot of wine tend to put on a lot of weight, that is not good for health. You must immediately contact your dietitian and your gym manager that can guide you with proper exercises and diet routines!
