Your Eating Habits Are Reflected In Your Personality

You must have heard this sentence so many times, “You are what you eat.”
Have you ever really given a thought as to what it means? And do you really think about the statement when you are indulged in making food choices for yourself?

In some ways, it is true that we do become what we eat. Tell me, have you ever noticed the quality of your blood plasma after eating a fast food item like a burger? What was previously a very clear liquid, unknowingly becomes very thick and cloudy with the accumulation of fat that is absorbed after eating a high-fat burger.

And when you actually think about it, we also gradually become what we don’t eat. For example, if we turn into a vegetarian from a non-vegetarian person, we become less fat, less prone to many types of cancers. Our cholesterol level will improve. When we’re slim and eat less animal products, then many other health related issues are reduced. The chances of getting Type II diabetes is reduced. Blood pressure becomes normal. When you feel healthy, then you take less medicines. Even if you have a medicine prescribed for you in your health plan, you will try to save money with fewer co-payments on medications. Because you know, that now you don't need the medicine any more.

If you have a background of high cholesterol, then it’s particularly incumbent on you to think about your eating habits. Moving towards a more vegetarian diet which includes less animal fat, has been advised to reduce the incidence of many diseases of industrialized countries. Vegetarians are more healthier than omnivorous persons; they’re leaner, healthier and live longer.

So this is the right time for you to think about your eating habits. Do you want to be obese and fat? Do you want to adopt the risk that goes with eating animal products, having big fat content? Or do you want to look slim and hot and be what vegetarians are? I know you want a long anticipated lifespan. It’s never too late... Go and change your eating habits now.
