Here are some of the steps that will help you fight Gambling:

  • Decision: just keep this point in mind that it is your own decision whether you should carry on with that horrible addiction or try to get rid of it! So here is the step for you to follow: we all know that before gambling occurs, the decision to gamble has been made. And if by any how you really feel that urge to gamble, make sure that stop what you are doing and call someone (a close friend or a family member), think about the consequences to your actions, keep reminding yourself that from now onwards you will not at all think about gambling, and find something else to do immediately. Just do anything else! Make yourself busy.
  • Money: We all know that money is the main factor behind gambling. And the fact that this addiction of gambling cannot occur without money. So just discard all your credit cards, let someone else be in charge of your money, make a kind of arrangement that allows the bank to make automatic payments for you, and just keep limited amount of cash in your hand.
  • Time: Gambling needs a hell lot of time and it cannot occur if you don’t have the time. So try to divert your time in other activities or make sure that you schedule enjoyable recreational time for yourself that has nothing to do with gambling. Go for a break with your family.
  • A Game: You can also ask the gambling authorities to restrict your entry in their casinos or pubs. Tell them you are strictly asked to keep away from such things.
  • Distract yourself with another activity. Just clean your house, do gardening, do whatever you feel like doing, but not gambling.
  • Think about the horrible consequences that you will have to face if you will lose a huge fortune in the game. I hope you will get a real scary feeling that you will never head towards a casino.
  • Think about how you’ll feel after all your money is gone and what will happen to your family when they will come to know that you are bankrupted!
