For instance, the Little League bats should not be more than 2 1/4 inches in diameter or more than 33 inches long. Although, all the adult leagues have specified rules in respect to baseball bats.

It's also important to take into account speed and control when buying a baseball bat. Make sure to check the weight of the bat, if you find the bat too heavy for you then it won't suit you. To check the grip of a baseball bat place your fingers around the handle; if the fingertips meets then it's the right baseball bat for you.

Generally, a small wooden baseball bat comes around for $10-$20. Although, the cost of an aluminum bat is a bit higher as they cost anywhere between $20-$200 or more. But, such bats are known to stand tough wear and tear as well as their balance and weight remain constant.
