Different people follow different religion. But, doe religion bring people of varied cultures together or not? Some may answer this question as yes and other might answer as no. But, past records indicate that religion has been one of the primary reasons behind many conflicts and wars.

The world has been divided on the basis of religions. The increase in the number of attack on innocent people on the basis of religion has led many people to think, why there had not been one religion or no religion at all for the people of this world. So, that instead of wasting time and energies on arguing about which religion is better than the other; the energy may have been utilized for the welfare of the entire mankind. And had we traveled on the right direction for these centuries, this world would become Heaven we could have seen God with naked eyes.
The reasons for developing different religion varies from person-to-person. Though, many of us aren't aware of the basic principles which were laid down at the first instance. After studying various religious scriptures, we can conclude that all the religions states more or less the same. But the religions have divided the people. Today, people differentiate one another on the basis of the religion he/she follows. Today, we have different places of worship, different books, different thoughts, different languages, and different way of greeting each other. These differences has led to the feeling in many people that individuals in other religions are not taking any interest in their welfare.

If this trend continues, there are chances this world shall be divided into different religion like Muslims, Christians and Hindus. We have seen such division in 1947, when India and Pakistan was divided into two different countries on the basis of religion. Although, certain basic steps have been taken to works toward this direction, but none of the efforts could establish one religion. Therefore, wise people of the world should come together and try to establish one religion which should be common to all and the present division on the basis of religions should go. Otherwise, living on this planet would become quite difficult.
