These sites require different attention, functions, and tools. Although, these sites include similar elements as the normal website but it also offer options like shopping carts, secure check outs, shipping and/or delivery information, live help or call center, credit card processing, fraud protection, and more.

The text written for these sites should be persuasive as well as assist viewers make the decision to buy products or services from you. Moreover, the e-commerce website should also offer additional information on the products, suggested uses, gifts section, and any other function that will help sell the product.

An E-commerce website should also provide search function to users, where they can go and look for things they want. You'll not find this option in a normal website. To improve your relationship with your customers you can also include a testimonial page and a FAQ page in your e-commerce website.

A testimonials page will allow new users to read about past customers experiences, which builds confidence immediately in your products and services. Whereas, a FAQ page will provide some of the common questions faced by users. This page will help resolve some of the common problems faced by users.
