This article will help you identify some of the common grammatical mistakes while writing. These words should not be mis-spelled because they have different spelling and meaning. So the next time you write make sure to keep these points in mind:

Your & You're

It is one of the most commonly misspelled words. Both these words mean completely different things so, it gets frustrating when used improperly. The word 'Your' used to denote possessive. For example: "I like your car." Whereas the word 'You're' is a combination of two words, you and are, which means you are. For example: "You're a fool." Therefore, when a person mixes both the words the entire meaning changes and it does not read right.

To & Too

These are another commonly misspelled words. Both the words means totally different if used incorrectly. The word 'To' refers to an action implied. Let's take an example, "I am going to Spain next fall." However, the term 'Too' refers to as well. Example: "Bring your friends along, too." It also means something excessive. For example: "This weight is too heavy." At times, people use the word two instead of too in this section. Therefore, you need to understand that this is a number and should never be mistaken/confused with to and too.

There, Their, & They're

All these words is pronounced almost same but carry different meaning. The word 'There' denotes a place. For example: "I want to go there." The term 'Their' refers to ownership of an object. For instance: "Their house is very nice." Finally, the word 'They're' is a conjunction of they and are. For example: "They are going on a vacation soon."
